Majors and minors in the mathematical and computer sciences prepare students for a wide variety of careers requiring problem solving, logical reasoning, and applications of current technology. Students who major in these areas receive excellent preparation for graduate studies in a variety of fields.
The Mathematics and Computer Science department offers three options of study in Computer Science:
- A Major in Mathematics with Computer Science Concentration
- A Minor in Computer Science
- A Minor in Web Development
A fourth option is to complete a major through the Interdisciplinary Studies Program.

If you are an existing student and wish to declare one of the above options, look for the
blue Major Declaration Form (ask your current advisor).
