Students participate in 2013 CCSC:Southeastern Programming Contest

Berry College was well-represented at the 27th Annual CCSC:Southeastern Conference held at Furman University this past weekend (November 15-16, 2013). A team of four Berry students, sponsored and coached by Dr. Nadeem Abdul Hamid, took 8th place out of 30 teams in the Twentieth Annual Southeastern Small College Programming Contest held in conjunction with the conference. The students were:

  •  Harrison Daniels
  •  Stephen Jones
  •  Mike Robb
  •  Daniel Vetter

Also at the conference, former post-graduate student Zane Cochran presented a paper on a project completed last year at Berry College, “The Bit Dome: Creating An Immersive Digital Environment With A Kinect-Based User Interface.”
